Welcome to the TIGER application. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information and location data are collected, used, and protected when you use our services.

To provide our services, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address for OTP verification and account creation.
• Vehicle Details: If you register a vehicle, we collect the vehicle name, registration number, passenger capacity, contact number, service mode (e.g., Route Specific, Free Anywhere), and images of the vehicle.
• Location Data (Foreground & Background): We collect precise real-time location data (GPS) from your device.

2. Explicit Notice for Background Location Tracking

The TIGER app relies heavily on location tracking to function. This app collects location data to enable live vehicle tracking and personal location sharing even when the app is closed or not in use.

• Drivers: When you activate "Start Drive," the app uses a foreground service to continuously collect your location in the background every 5 seconds. This ensures passengers can see your live position on the map.
• Users: When utilizing the "Personal Share" feature, your location is transmitted in the background so authorized viewers can monitor your safety.

Background tracking is explicitly triggered by the user and is accompanied by an ongoing persistent notification indicating that location sharing is active. You can stop this tracking at any time by ending the trip or session within the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect strictly to operate the TIGER platform:

• To connect passengers with available nearby vehicles.
• To display live vehicle locations and statuses (e.g., "Available", "Busy") on the map.
• To facilitate communication via the provided contact numbers.
• To securely authenticate your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data, including images and location coordinates, is transmitted to and stored on our secure servers. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Information is shared only in the following contexts:

• With other users: Your vehicle details, contact number, and live location are visible to other users searching for rides on the map.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

6. Prohibition of Illegal Activity & Liability

By using this platform, you agree that TIGER shall not be used to facilitate, coordinate, or engage in any illegal, unlawful, or criminal activities. The developer provides this platform "as is" and assumes absolute zero liability for any misuse of the platform. All legal liability, responsibility, and consequences for actions taken while using this app lie solely and entirely upon you, the registered user.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and vehicle data as long as your account is active. Background location data (pings) are processed in real-time and stale data (older than 15 minutes without an update) is automatically marked as unavailable to maintain system accuracy.

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can delete registered vehicles directly from the dashboard, or contact us to delete your entire account.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after modifications indicates your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
